Manual — Join Five 3D Cube

Overview

Join Five 3D Cube is a 3D logic puzzle game inspired by Morpion Solitaire / Join Five.
Your goal is to create as many unique lines of exactly 5 connected dots as possible on a rotating 3D cube.

Each move:

• adds one new black dot
• creates one new colored line
• increases your score by 1 point

The game ends when no more valid moves are possible.

Controls

Mouse

• Left Click → place a new dot
• Click + Drag → rotate the cube in 3D

Keyboard

• Q → show hints
• Z → undo last move

Rules

1. A line must contain exactly 5 dots

Every new line is built from:

• 4 existing dots
• 1 newly added dot

The game automatically creates the line after you place a valid dot.

2. Lines can go in any 3D direction

Lines may be:

• horizontal
• vertical
• diagonal
• depth diagonal
• fully 3D diagonal

As long as they form 5 consecutive points.

3. Lines cannot overlap

A new line:

• cannot reuse an existing line segment
• cannot partially overlap another line
• cannot extend an old line using the same path

This makes planning very important.

4. Dots stay black

• All dots are black
• Every line gets its own soft color
• Colors only help distinguish lines visually

5. Hints

Press Q or click Hint to display:

• all currently valid positions
• shown as highlighted dots

If no hints appear:

• the game is over

6. Undo

Press Z or click Back to:

• remove the last move
• remove the last line
• restore the previous state

Scoring

• Every completed line = 1 point
• Final score = total number of valid lines created

Strategy Tips

Think in 3D

Rotate the cube often.
Some moves are only visible from certain angles.

Avoid blocking future moves

A line may prevent many future possibilities if placed badly.

Use center space carefully

The middle area of the cube is extremely valuable.

Look for chain opportunities

Good placements can create several future line possibilities nearby.

Leaderboard

The game stores:

• player names
• scores
• dates

Top scores are shown on the global leaderboard.

Try to:

• beat your highest score
• optimize cube space
• discover efficient line patterns
• reach world-record-level scores
